Consul General of Nigeria to South Africa

The Consul General is an accomplished, initiative-taking, patriotic, and seasoned diplomat of sterling character. He is a person of proven integrity, selfless with a rare sense of duty and commitment to public service. Throughout his diplomatic career, the Consul-General; has served in various capacities in Nigerian Missions around the world, including Seoul, South Korea; Pretoria, South Africa; and Accra, Ghana. He has also been opportune to serve at the African Union Commission; and represented Nigeria in other multilateral fora, such as the United Nations Preparatory Session on the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Consul General; was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is a lawyer by training from the University of Jos, where he obtained both LL. B (Hons.), and LL.M (Hons.) degrees. His area of specialization is international law and diplomacy, human rights, and climate advocacy. He is an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and charity worker. The Consul General is married and blessed with children.
